Club Americas is just one of the social events IAADFS organizes each year for show attendees.

The IAADFS Duty Free Show of the Americas is the place to conduct business, and the 2014 Show is no exception. However, in addition to the business-to-business tradeshow, the IAADFS show also provides several opportunities for attendees to relax and network with others in the industry.

The single price registration includes access to the exhibit hall and popular social events: Sunday evening’s Opening Reception, Tuesday night’s Gala Evening, and Club Americas, a nightclub activity on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights. Register online with payment by January 17 to receive the discounted registration fee of $350 per person. The registration fee does not include the Sports Day events.

“The Opening Reception, Gala Evening, and Club Americas all provide valuable opportunities for attendees to socialize and to network outside of the exhibit hall environment,” said Michael Payne, Executive Director for IAADFS.

“All registered attendees are invited to Sunday evening’s Opening Reception, and it’s pretty common for people to meet at that event and firm up appointments for exhibit hall days. The Gala Evening is another great event that lets people socialize with others, and we always have lively entertainment at that event. Club Americas is a popular place to go for some relaxation, dancing, and to enjoy a beverage or two after a long day on the exhibit hall.”

Opening Reception

6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, March 9
Don’t miss one of the most important social events of the show. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and drinks while networking with colleagues and making plans for the rest of the week.

Gala Evening

7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 11
Join us Tuesday night for our Gala Evening, which will feature a plated sit-down meal, entertainment, and a video review of the show. Gala attendees will automatically receive admission to Club Americas on Tuesday night to enjoy live music and dancing. Reservations are required with your pre-registration by Friday, Feb. 14, with seating selection to be made onsite. While attendance to the Gala is technically open to all regularly registered paid attendees, space is limited so we need you to confirm your attendance by Feb. 14 to allow us to plan for appropriate seating and food quantities.

Club Americas

Need a break after a busy day? Club Americas is the place for you! On Monday and Tuesday nights, enjoy a nightclub experience with live music and dancing. Wednesday night will feature a DJ and dancing. Casual attire is acceptable for Club Americas, and jeans are permitted. You must be 21 or older to attend.
