OneSimCard aims to save international travelers money, and the IAADFS Show provides the perfect channel to reach those travelers.

At booth 110, attendees can learn more about the company’s quality, low cost mobile phone and data service that’s available in more than 200 countries allowing international travelers to avoid the high roaming charges they incur when using their regular telecom carriers’ services abroad.

“On average, OneSimCard customers enjoy savings of about 87 percent when using our mobile services internationally as compared to standard international roaming fees,” said Roy Heimowitz, director of marketing and sales. “OneSimCard is an outstanding product for duty free stores and travel retailers.”

The OneSimCard brand launched in May 2007 by Belmont Telecom, Inc., a profitable, privately owned and licensed U.S. interexchange carrier (IXC) founded in 1994.

OneSimCard has grown rapidly since launch and has received numerous recommendations in North American media outlets, including The New York Times, Washington Post, TIME/CNN, Boston Globe, Toronto Star, and an “Excellent” 4-star rating by PC Magazine.

Marketing and distribution partners include major airlines, travel technology companies, hundreds of retailers throughout North America, travel agencies, tour operators, and leading consumer electronics stores (e.g. Best Buy Canada, Fry’s Electronics).

“More and more international travelers are interested in using mobile Internet data while abroad,” Heimowitz said. “The major telecom companies still demand high prices for international data roaming causing many travelers to switch off their smartphone data services when they leave the country. But, with the wider awareness of alternative low cost international mobile roaming service providers like OneSimCard, travelers are more likely to keep their international data roaming switched on.”

He added that OneSimCard is excited to participate in its first IAADFS Show, and he said he hopes buyers will visit the booth to learn more about the company’s international voice, text messaging, and data roaming services for travel retailers.

“Duty free and travel retail are an important segment for us, and we look forward to finding new partners at the show,” Heimowitz said. “Duty free and travel retailers should visit our stand to get a better understanding of a product that saves travelers a great deal of money on telecommunication costs and offers retailers strong margins and a reoccurring revenue stream.”
