New exhibitors see IAADFS Show as launching pad

More than 35 exhibitors are making their first appearance or returning following an absence to the IAADFS Duty Free Show of the Americas this year.

The reasons may vary, but the ultimate goal is the same — to see their company gain exposure it can’t get anywhere else.

Delight Slotemaker de Bruine, sales business development manager for Chrislie Formulations, booth 1522, said the IAADFS Show is the perfect place for new exhibitors to introduce themselves to the duty free market.

“We thought it was a great opportunity to showcase our unique products to a diverse group of highly qualified buyers from more than 300 duty free store operators from more than 60 countries,” she said. “We think our products will be a great match for the duty free market.”

Established in 2010, Chrislie Formulations was founded by Helga Arminak, a longtime entrepreneur and a reputed name in the beauty products industry. Located in the heart of Southern California, Chrislie Formulations is a company created by women, for women. The company creates health and beauty care products that help women feel great about themselves by looking their best and saving time and money.

“We have recently launched the FDA-registered device and cellulite combo Lipo Lotion at CVS, as well as looking to grow our brand Measurable Difference,” Slotemaker de Bruine said. “We also will be focused on showcasing our Makeup ER Kit. It’s a six-piece Emergency Kit to help you radiate any look with a perfect touch of sun-kissed glow with the Makeup ER Kit. The kit contains five signature beauty essentials a girl may need to help her add an extra boost of healthy-looking radiance at any moment.”

She added that she has high expectations for the IAADFS Show.

“We hope to meet a lot of new buyers, and to showcase our products,” she said. “We hope to get a lot of exposure and to build a lot of new business.”

Anthony T. Sala, VP of Sales & Merchandising – Jetlag Mens, division of Jordache Enterprises, New York, N.Y., said this show is a big one for his company.

“We will be launching Women’s at this show,” he said. “We were launched in Berlin in 1993 and launched in USA in 2005. We have many reversible featured items in shorts, pants and outerwear that we know will be great for the contemporary traveler.”

The company, represented in booth no. 2609, knows IAADFS is the best place to introduce what’s next.

“Our business is expanding and we are excited to have the opportunity to be a part of the show,” he said.
