Although Crocs have been around since 2002, this is the first year the footwear company has exhibited at the Duty Free Show (booth 1404). Promoting the motto to “find your fun” in every colorful pair of shoes, regional sales manager for the Caribbean Jennifer Kraus said that Crocs offers some 300 styles of clog, sandal and flip-flop for men, women, and children. Each is made from the company’s patented Croslite material and weighs 8 ounces or less.

The footwear originally was developed by three University of Colorado students and has turned into a multimillion-dollar company. According to Kraus, Crocs has sold more than 300 million pairs of shoes in more than 90 countries around the world.

The company already has a strong presence in the resort market but is looking to break into the cruise ship market as well.
