Gala Evening engages and entertains

As an elegant finale to the show, nearly 600 IAADFS Show attendees enjoyed an evening of gourmet food, open bar, and a variety of classy entertainment at this year’s Gala Evening.

A variety of entertainers set the mood for the Gala.

A variety of entertainers set the mood for the Gala.

After an onstage trio and an eight-piece orchestra set the mood for guests’ arrival, an Adele tribute singer drifted through the crowd, serenading guests as they were seated for their meals. A Marc Anthony tribute singer added to the mix, entertaining guests during dinner. At the end of the evening, the airwall dividing the room was opened, allowing guests the opportunity to continue the party at Club Americas.

IAADFS Show attendees come from a variety of cultural backgrounds and include industry newcomers as well as veterans, factors that are kept in mind during the event’s planning stages. The Gala Evening entertainment lineup is set to appeal to a broad audience, an element that attendees such as Thom Blincoe, trade marketing manager, Americas and the Caribbean for Godiva, appreciates.

“I hope that the association will continue to bring innovation to the Gala and Club Americas event opportunities. It is important that IAADFS appeals to younger audience contacts with enticing content,” he said.
