Revlon, the iconic global cosmetics company, will debut new Travel Exclusive Collection Sets at its IAADFS Show expanded booth.

“The Americas is a vitally important region for Revlon’s global travel retail strategy, and launching our new Travel Exclusive Collection Sets at IAADFS reaffirms the significance of this region to Revlon,” said David Carvalho, senior vice president and general manager for Revlon’s Global Distributors, Licensees, and Travel-Retail business.

The new Travel Exclusive Collection Sets include: Love Series Essentials, must-have makeup essentials in a compact pouch; Makeup Brush Essentials, Revlon’s most advanced brushes; and ColorStay Gel Envy™ Nail Sets, four travel-exclusive sets, each featuring a different theme.

Also new is Revlon’s Feb. 1 unveiling of its Choose Love campaign, the next phase of its Love Is On brand mission. Revlon invites women to upload photos of themselves blowing kisses and tagging someone special to “pass it on” using the new #CHOOSELOVE hashtag. On Monday and Tuesday at the IAADFS Show, visitors can have their pictures taken at the Revlon booth and receive a free printed photo. Those who share their photos with the #CHOOSELOVE hashtag will receive a free Revlon gift.

Dubai Duty Free, the largest single-site duty free retailer in the world in terms of turnover, recently staged the exclusive pre-launch of the Gold Anniversary Collection, a limited edition assortment of chocolates created by Belgian chocolatier Godiva, to celebrate its 90th anniversary.

The retailer showcased the 18-piece collection, offered in global travel retail at a recommended price of $35.50, exclusively at Dubai International Airport throughout March before formally debuting this month in domestic and travel retail markets worldwide.

Featuring eight of Godiva’s most iconic chocolates — one from almost every decade — the collection is completed by the brand-new Egérie Noir piece. Every precious chocolate tells its own unique story. For example, the Signature Lait is a velvety coffee ganache, decorated with a feather and created for the movie “Gone With the Wind” in 1939. Belgian artist Oli B was commissioned to design Godiva’s iconic gold box.

This year, Robert Mondavi Winery celebrates another major achievement with its 50th anniversary.

Recalling Robert Mondavi’s spirit of innovation, and his one-time stint conducting the Napa Valley Symphony in the just-opened To Kalon Cellar, Director of Winemaking Genevieve Janssens and her team have crafted the celebratory 50th anniversary red wine blend, Maestro, a name worthy of the man himself. The limited-release bottling is now available.

In addition to the new Maestro, a commemorative 50th anniversary label will adorn new releases of some of the most enduring bottlings from Robert Mondavi Winery, including the 2015 Fume Blanc, Napa Valley, the 2014 cabernet sauvignon, Napa Valley, and the winery’s hallmark 2013 cabernet sauvignon reserve, To Kalon Vineyard.

In an age when stocks of older single malt Scotch whiskies are a rarity, Angus Dundee is happy to announce the launch of Tomintoul Speyside Glenlivet Single Malt, aged 40 years. This quadruple cask is unique and is a limited release, with only 500 handcrafted, individually numbered crystal decanters available.

In the depths of warehouse 4 at Tomintoul Distillery at Glenlivet Estate, adjacent to the village of Tomintoul, the highest village in the Highlands of Scotland, Master Distiller Robert Fleming discovered four American oak hogsheads from a 1974 distillation. He nosed and tasted each cask, finally deciding that the quality of the whisky was truly outstanding and that such a rare discovery merited a special bottling.

Ravoire & Fils will debut MANON Cotes de Provence rosé, its newest award-winning wine, at this year’s IAADFS Show. Just released to the trade, the 2015 vintage has already been awarded with a gold medal at Concours des Courtiers Assermentes in January of this year. The blush wine, in its elegant, unique bottle, is a blend of 60 percent Grenache, 30 percent Cinsault, and 10 percent Syrah. The limpid wine is known for its brilliant pink color and revealing aromas of white flowers (honeysuckle) and pit fruits (peach). Its silky smooth structure confers a pleasant, long-lasting finish.


Mark_westStansfield Scott showcases new, exclusive wines 

IAADFS Show exhibitor Stansfield Scott is celebrating new wines from Babich, Mark West, and Robert Mondavi wineries. Babich Wines, a family-owned, New Zealand winery has exclusively produced a special edition 2013 cabernet sauvignon in 100 magnums and 330 standard bottles to celebrate its 100th anniversary.

The wine comes in a designer box with a certificate personally signed by Babich Managing Director Joe Babich, adding to its authenticity and uniqueness. Each bottle has an ultra-high-end cork and is hand waxed.

Given the limited number of bottles produced, there is a strict allocation of this wine. The recommended retail price is approximately $269 for 750 ml and approximately $675 for 1,500 ml.

Stansfield Scott is also celebrating Mark West Black, an exceptional pinot noir using only the best fruit sourced from California’s coastal appellations. The recently launched, scintillating new pinot noir is the most full-bodied wine in the brand’s portfolio since the winery was founded in 1978.

Finally, Stansfeld Scott will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Robert Mondavi Winery with Maestro, a limited
edition Bordeaux. Maestro is smooth and rich with black fruit and mocha aromas and fresh cherry flavors.
