Following the success of last year’s educational sessions, IAADFS is pleased to announce the education program speakers for the 2017 Duty Free Show of the Americas.

Sessions will be held Monday, March 27 and Tuesday, March 28 from 8:00 – 9:30 a.m. Show registration is still open; all registered attendees are welcome to attend.

Monday, March 27
Session 1: Growth Opportunities in the Americas, 8:00 – 8:45 a.m.

Moderated by Martin Moodie, Chairman of The Moodie Davitt Report, the panel includes Gustavo Fagundes, ASUTIL President and COO of Dufry Brasil; Abe Taqtaq, FDFA President and Vice President of Windsor-Detroit Tunnel Duty Free Shop, Inc.; and Erasmo Orillac, IAADFS Chairman of the Board and CEO of Motta Internacional, SA. The group will discuss present and future growth opportunities for duty free and travel retail in the Americas.

Session 2: Sales and Customer Insights – Maximizing Your Potential, 8:45 – 9:30 a.m.

Learn how to leverage employee engagement, attract the millennial shopper, and use social media more effectively in this session presented by Peter Mohn, Owner and CEO of m1nd-set, and Christine Martin, Managing Director of Travel Retail Training.

Tuesday, March 28
Border Duty Free – Crossing the Frontier, 8:00 – 9:30 a.m.

Simon Falic, Chairman of Duty Free Americas, Inc.; Abe Taqtaq, Vice President of Windsor-Detroit Tunnel Duty Free Shop, Inc.; and Enrique Urioste, CEO of Neutral Duty Free will discuss border duty free stores from their unique geographic perspectives in this session moderated by Peter Mohn, Owner and CEO of m1nd-set.
